Sunday 20th July – Kiltevna 5k Run in aid of Galway Hospice

Running at Marathon [640x480]A 5k run will be taking place in Kiltevna on Sunday next, 20th July, with proceeds being donated to Galway Hospice. The run will kick off at 1pm from outside the Kucu Bar and everyone is welcome to take part in it.

Registration fee for the run is €5 and all proceeds will be donated to Galway Hospice.

Hopefully the rain that we have been having for the past few days will “take a break” for the duration of the Kiltevna Run, and it will be a glorious day for all who take part.  Even if you can’t run the 5k, why not consider walking it, or push the buggy ….  come along, enjoy the exercise, and raise funds for Galway Hospice in the process!

Galway Hospice provides Home Care and Day Care hospice services without any help from the State.  The people of Galway make this possible.  The Kiltevna 5k run is part of that tapestry of wonderful community support that has enabled these services to be provided.  On behalf of those that have used these services, and those that will need them in the future, THANK YOU!
