USAC raises €5484.83 for Galway Hospice and John Paul Centre through Gun Push

Many thanks to the members of USAC who recently completed their annual Gun Push in aid of Galway Hospice and the Parents and Friends Association of the John Paul Centre. This extremely fit group of soldiers raised the money by pushing a ceremonial 25 pounder artillery gun a distance of 20k between Twain Island and Eyre Square in Galway.

As a result of this, the group raised a total of €5484.83 which was divided between Galway Hospice and the John Paul Centre.

Pictured at the cheque presentation are (l-r): Lt Bronagh McMorrow, Lt Ross Wainer, Orla Feeney (Galway Hospice), Marty Beatty (John Paul Centre) and Comdt Kevin Campion.

Thanks to the USAC for their loyal and generous support of Galway Hospice throughout the years and to everyone who supported their annual Gun Push.
