Best of luck to Trevor Harte and Amanda O’Connor who are organising a sponsored Walk & Wax event in aid of Galway Hospice on Saturday 25th February 2012. The event will begin at mid-day with a sponsored walk, beginning at the Lantern Bar (Ballybane), turning left onto the Tuam Road towards the city, then onto the Dublin Road and completing the circuit back to the Lantern Bar. Later that evening, there will also be another event kicking off at 9pm in the Lantern Bar. This event will consist of live music, followed by waxing and shaving and a Raffle with fantastic prizes. Participants on the night can undergo a choice of Head Shaving, Chest Wax or Leg Wax (and ladies are welcome as well!).

Sponsorship cards are now available. Each participant in the walk and waxing events will be allocated a sponsorship card so it’s very important that they get lots of support. There will also be bucket collections throughout the day and night in aid of Galway Hospice. Come on and join in the fun!
