The annual Annaghdown Cycle took place this year on 16th and 17th April. This year the cycle took the route from Regan’s of Clonboo to Ennistymon in County Clare, where – after a well deserved overnight rest – the cyclists pedalled all the way back to Clonboo the following day. All proceeds from this year’s cycle were donated to Galway Hospice. A huge “thank you” to all the cyclists that took part, to those who sponsored them, and to Regan’s of Clonboo for their tremendous hospitality to the cyclists and back-up team at the start and finish of the pelethon. The monies raised will be spent on the provision of Home Care and Day Care services at Galway Hospice.
