4th Annual ‘Menlo Park’ Dance raises €5030 for Galway Hospice Day Care Centre

Many thanks to Joe Walsh and Mary Naughton who held their 4th Annual ‘Menlo Park’ Dance in January and raised a whopping €5030 for the Day Care Centre of Galway Hospice.  To date, Joe and Mary have raised €19,582.30 for Galway Hospice Day Care through their annual dances.

Pictured are Joe and Mary presenting the proceeds to Orla Feeney of Galway Hospice.

Joe and Mary are currently in the process of organising their 5th Annual Dance for Galway Hospice, which will be taking place in the Menlo Park Hotel on 25th January 2013.  This event is specifically to raise funds for the Day Care Centre at Galway Hospice, which currently has 50 patients attending.  Day Care provides medical, nursing and therapeutic supports for patients, but it also – very importantly – gives the carers a break.  Your support for this event would be hugely appreciated.  Galway Hospice Day Care does not get any funding from the State, so events like this are hugely important to keep the service going.    So, come along and enjoy a good tatter around the dance floor, while supporting Galway Hospice in the process.  Thank you!
