31st December – Conn O’Mara Loop-athon in aid of Galway Hospice

It’s that time of year again! The Conn O’Mara Loopathon is taking place again on New Year’s Eve 2012 in Clifden to raise money for Galway Hospice.  The event is a 5.6 km Run/Walk with a registration fee of just €12.50 for Adults and €7.50 for participants under 16 years of age. The event organisers have also offered a family rate this year of €30!  All monies raised on the day will be donated to Galway Hospice.

The route will be starting  at Lowry’s Bar at 11.30am (walkers) and 12md (runners), and finishing at the Outdoor Shop.  This is an event for runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels.  The aim is to get people out enjoying a health walk/run in aid of Galway Hospice on New Year’s Eve.  Medals will be awarded to all finishers on the day!

So, come on out, enjoy the fresh air, and build up a great appetite for dinner on New Year’s Day!  What better way to help shift those extra Christmas pounds while supporting Galway Hospice.  Thank you for your support!
