Many thanks to the Annaghdown Cyclists who recently presented Fiona McKinnon of Galway Hospice with the proceeds of their 26th Annual Annaghdown Cycle. The presentation took place in Regans of Clonboo, with music and song, and a great night was had by all!
The cycle, which took place on the 20th and 21st of April, travelled from Annaghdown to Ennistymon on the Saturday, with the return journey on the Sunday, all in aid of Galway Hospice.
This was the 26th year of this cycle and the organisers have been great supporters of Galway Hospice for many years now. Our massive thanks to the dedicated organisers of this event and to the brave cyclists who take on this fantastic challenge each year. The funding received from this event over the years has been hugely important in the provision of Galway Hospice Home Care and Day Care services, which rely totally on voluntary donations.
Pictured in the front row are Sean Tully, Fiona McKinnon (Galway Hospice), Eileen Regan and Breda King, along with many of the fantastic cyclists and supporters. Thanks to everyone for their support. Special thanks to Regans of Clonboo who have provided phenomenal support for the cyclists at the start and the end of the race each year.
