Saturday 23rd April – Maroon Charity Cycle in aid of Galway Hospice & South Westmeath Hospice

Poster (Copy)A Maroon Charity Cycle will be taking place on Saturday 23rd April 2016 in aid of Galway Hospice and South Westmeath Hospice.  The cycle will begin in Athlone and will travel through Ballinasloe, finishing up in Fohenagh. Participants will have the option of cycling from Athlone to Fohenagh (45km) or Ballinasloe to Fohenagh (20km).  All proceeds raised from the cycle will be divided between Galway Hospice and South Westmeath Hospice.

Entry fee costs €25 and sponsorship cards are available.

The cycle will push-off from Athlone Town Soccer Stadium at 10am on the 23rd April. Registration will be open at the start venue from 8.30am that morning.

The cycle will travel to Ballinasloe and will depart The Birch Grove at 12 noon.  Anyone wishing to begin the cycle from The Birch Grove will need to register from 10.30am at this location.

There will be water stops en-route, refreshments afterwards and commemorative t-shirts for participants.
