21st / 22nd April 2012 – 25th Anniversary Annaghdown Cycle for Galway Hospice

It’s that time of year again!  Now celebrating its 25th year, the Annaghdown Annual Cycle takes place this year on next Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April.

Pushing off from Regan’s of Clonboo at 10am on 21st April, the pelathon will blaze a trail, whizzing through Tuam, Claremorris, Balla, Castlebar and finishing in Westport for an overnight stay (and much needed rest and refreshments!) in the Westport Woods Hotel.  Next morning (Sunday 22nd April) the intrepid cyclists will power their way back to Clonboo, aiming to arrive at Regan’s Bar at approximately 5pm, where they will be greeted with the legendary hospitality of the team at Regan’s.

All proceeds from the Cycle will go to Galway Hospice.  If you live along the route of the cycle, why not watch out for the cyclists and encourage them along the way!  These cyclists are real “heroes” – giving of themselves for the benefit of others. Your support of the sponsored cycle would be much appreciated.  Thanks to all concerned!
