St Raphael’s College Loughrea raise €610 for Galway Hospice!

Well done to the students and teachers of Transition Year Class in St Raphael’s College, Loughrea, who recently organised a ‘Create a Link, Wear Pink’ Day in aid of Galway Hospice. Through this novel and exciting event, they raised a mighty €610 which they presented to Collette Coen of Galway Hospice.

Pictured at the presentation are students from the Transition Year class, along with their teacher Miriam Gleeson, and Collette Coen of Galway Hospice.

Well done to everyone who helped organise and run this event, and of course to everyone who supported it on the day!  Events like this are hugely important to Galway Hospice in terms of sustainable funding.  We are extreamly grateful to the students of St Raphael’s College and to everyone who supports the running of our services through various fundraising events.
