‘Sharon Creaven Remembrance Walk’ – Saturday, 30th April 2016

IMG_0642 (Copy)The ‘Sharon Creaven Remembrance Walk’ in aid of Galway Hospice will take place on Saturday 30th April.  The 7 kilometre walk circuit will start and finish at Corrandulla National School. A balloon release in memory of Sharon will take place during the walk.

All proceeds raised through this remembrance walk will be donated to Galway Hospice.  Galway Hospice deeply appreciates the Creaven family choosing the Foundation as the beneficiary of their special walk.  Every year, Galway Hospice must raise €1.8 million to ensure the delivery of Hospice Home Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services to people throughout Galway city and county, as well as to those residing on the adjoining islands.  Galway Hospice depends hugely on voluntary funds for these essential services.
