After the glare of the TV cameras from his role as a leader on ‘Operation Transformation’, Ronan Scully’s attention now turns to another big challenge, The North Pole Marathon. Running a marathon is a tough thing to do as many people with agree with but throw in the extreme conditons at The North Pole and you start painting a whole new picture of the challenge that lies ahead.
“This is without doubt one the hardest things I have ever taken on. It is a 26.2 mile run in temperatures that can drop to -40c at the geographic North Pole”, explains Ronan “but the madness that it presents can be justified by the great opportunites in raising money for 6 deserving charities”.
