Recycling Clothes for Galway Hospice

Clothes recycling has proven to be a runaway fundraising success for Galway Hospice, with receipt of a further cheque for €28,970 from Cookstown Textile Recyclers raised from clothes recycling in 2010.  Thanks to everyone who recycled their clothes at the Galway Hospice clothes recycling banks throughout Galway city and county last year.

Cookstown Textile Recyclers are proud supporters of Galway Hospice, and since 2006 they have donated the amazing total of €85,770 to Galway Hospice which they raised through their Textile Recycling Banks, which they operate in association with Galway County Council.

Pictured at the presentation of the cheque are (l-r): Billy Conway (Cookstown Textile Recyclers) with Mary Tierney and Fiona McKinnon (Galway Hospice).   Thanks to Billy and his team at Cookstown Textile Recyclers for their loyalty and support to Galway Hospice.

This fundraising venture is tremendously important for Galway Hospice, so we ask all of our supporters to bring their unwanted clothes to these particular recycling banks, which directly benefit Galway Hospice.  A list of locations is as follows:
