NUIG Medical Society raises €1,810.74 for Galway Hospice

Cheque Presentation (Copy)Many thanks to the NUIG Medical Society, who recently presented Orla Feeney of Galway Hospice with a cheque for €1,810.74.

The group raised these funds through a series of fundraising initiatives including a bucket collection, bake sale, busking and blood pressure clinics around Galway City, University Hospital Galway and the NUI Galway campus. Through this fundraising, a fantastic total of €7,242.96 was raised, which was divided between Galway Hospice, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Friends of the Elderly – Ireland and ALONE Ireland.

Pictured at the cheque presentation are (l-r): Orla Feeney (Galway Hospice), James Morgan, Conor Devlin and Aisling Gallagher.

Well done and thank you to all concerned.
