Moira Concannon’s Killimor Tea Dances raise €64,665 to date for Galway Hospice!

Many thanks to Moira Concannon who recently presented Galway Hospice with a cheque for €8,000, the proceeds from a number of tea dances she hosted during 2011. Moira has been holding monthly tea dances in aid of Galway Hospice since 2002 in Treacy’s Bar, Killimor and to date Moira, with the help of her good friends, has raised the amazing amount of €64,665.70 for Galway Hospice!

Pictured is Moira Concannon presenting the cheque for €8,000 to Collette Coen of Galway Hospice.  A massive “thank you” to Moira for her fantastic dedication to fundraising for Galway Hospice, with such consistency over the past nine years.   Thanks also to her friends who help with organising the events, and of course to all those who attended.  Well done to all concerned!
