Limerick to New Inn Cycle raises €12,150 for Galway Hospice!

Cheque Presentation (Copy)Many thanks to the organisers and participants of the Limerick to New Inn Cycle who recently presented Galway Hospice with a cheque for €12,150!

The group raised this by organising and participating in a 60-mile sponsored cycle from Limerick to New Inn (Co. Galway) on Sunday 25th May 2014, with all proceeds raised being donated to Galway Hospice.

Pictured at the cheque presentation were:

Back row (l-r): Michael Kelly, Kerrill Donohue, Michael McDonnell, Pat Leech, David Kingsland and Padraic Finnerty.

Middle row (l-r): Maeve Donohue, Geraldine McDonnell, Mary Finnerty, Nora Quinn, Yvonne Bradley, Margaret Hawkins, Geraldine Quinn, Tom Garvey, Grainne Costello and Michael Mullins.

Front Row: Vincent Finnerty, Emmett Malone, Diarmuid Burns, Orla Feeney (Galway Hospice), Gerry O Connor and John Grenham.

Events like this are very important to Galway Hospice in helping us to fund the Hospice Home Care and Day Care services, that depend entirely on voluntary support.    Many thanks to the organisers, to the cyclists, and to everyone who supported this event in aid of Galway Hospice.  Well done to all concerned!
