KSU Chamber Orchestra Concert in aid of Galway Hospice

Calling all lovers of good music!   Fancy hearing some exquisite Chamber Orchestra music in one of Galway’s best acoustic venues?  If you do, then the place to be on this Monday evening, 21st March 2011 at 8pm, is the Augustinian Church in Galway City.  The concert will be performed by 25 talented young musicians of the Kansas State University Chamber Orchestra,  Manhattan, Kansas, USA.  This group are visiting Galway City as part of an eight-day concert tour of Ireland and have chosen Galway Hospice as their charity of choice for their Galway concert.   The Orchestra will present a programme of classical music with works by European and American composers.  Admission is free (unreserved seating), but a collection will be taken up at the end to benefit Galway Hospice.  All are welcome.
