Kerry People’s Association present €4,429 to Galway Hospice from Table Quiz

Photo [640x480]Many thanks to the Kerry People’s Association who raised €4,429 for Galway Hospice through a Table Quiz which was held in the Salthill Hotel on the 28th January 2014.

Pictured at the cheque presentation are (l-r): John Leen, Orla Feeney (Galway Hospice), Tracy O’Connell and Tony Barrett.  The presentation took place on April 20th – apologies for the late posting of this event!

Events like this are so important to Galway Hospice in terms of sustainable fundraising. Each year, we have to raise €1.6 million to fund our Home Care and Day Care services (which receive no State support) and to part-fund our Inpatient services (due to reduction in State funding).

We are very grateful to groups like the Kerry People’s Association who dedicate their time and efforts to raising these essential funds for Galway Hospice.  In this instance, our sincere thanks to the Kerry People’s Association and to all concerned with this Table Quiz, and for the fantastic donation of €4,429 which resulted.
