Gort Livestock Mart raises €1,675 for Galway Hospice to mark 50 years trading

Gort Livestock Mart recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary!  As part of the celebrations, two animals were auctioned in aid of Galway Hospice. The animals had been purchased by Gort Mart Committee and Staff and were auctioned on the day, raising a fantastic €1,675 for Galway Hospice.

Pictured at the cheque presentation are (l-r): Colm Flanagan (Gort Mart Chairman), Pat Lahiff (Gort Mart Committee), Emer Molloy (Galway Hospice) and Bernie Fahey (Gort Mart Staff).

Also a further thanks to Pat Lahiff, Colm Flanagan and Tony Halpin, Crusheen who donated prize money they received on the day.

Many thanks to Gort Livestock Mart for choosing Galway Hospice to benefit from this event, and congratulations on achieving 50 successful years of trading.
