GENBAND Ireland Ltd supports Galway Hospice through Global Day of Service

Staff of GENBAND Ireland Ltd recently organised and took part in a sponsored walk in aid of Galway Hospice.  The walk was held on June 1st as part of Genband’s Global Day of Service.

Each year, staff and volunteers of Genband hold ‘GENBAND Day’, which takes place on June 1st of each year.  This is a Global Day of Service during which Genband’s global employee base participate in volunteer activities benefiting non-profit agencies and organizations all around the world. Genband team members around the world dedicate volunteer hours during their Global Day of Service.

This year, Genband Galway very kindly chose Galway Hospice as their charity for the day and a large number of staff and volunteers came out on the day to meet with Emer Molloy of Galway Hospice and to participate in a Walk on the Prom in aid of Galway Hospice.

To date, Genband has donated €2,770 to Galway Hospice from this event. Sincere thanks to the staff and the organisers who dedicated their time and efforts to raising funds for Galway Hospice.   Special thanks to everyone who supported the event by taking part.  The second photo was taken at the “turning point” at Blackrock, usually providing a rest for the weary.  As you can see, there was no slacking here!

Congratulations and well done, staff of Genband!
