Galway Hospice to Launch Memory Tree

Galway Hospice is to launch a unique ‘Memory Tree’.

The new Memory Tree sculpture is a beautiful way to remember loved ones and to celebrate Hospice supporters.

The Memory Tree at the heart of Galway Hospice in Renmore will have 320 bronze, silver and gold leaves. Each leaf can be engraved with the name of a loved one, a family name or company name.

“The Memory Tree is for anyone who has lost a loved one, whether they were cared for by Galway Hospice or not,” said Charlene Hurley, Director of Fundraising and Communications at Galway Hospice. “Each leaf is a wonderful way to remember a loved one while supporting local hospice care.”

“Galway Hospice must raise over €2.3million each year to provide our vital services. Each leaf on our new Memory Tree will raise valuable funds for the Hospice, helping us to continue to provide care to our patients and their families, free-of-charge, now and into the future.”

To dedicate a leaf on the Galway Hospice Memory Tree for one year, you can choose from a Bronze Leaf (€100 or €8.50 monthly), a Silver Leaf (€150 or €12.50 monthly) or a Gold Leaf (€250 or €21 monthly).
