Darragh Bailey to climb Kilimanjaro for Galway Hospice

Darragh Bailey from Barna will be climbing Kilimanjaro from the 18th to 23rd August 2011, as a fundraiser for Galway Hospice. On the run up to this challenge, Darragh will be organising various events to encourage sponsorship for his climb. The first of these events was a Cake Sale, which was held on 19th June in Barna Church (the Cilin), after both 10am Mass and 12pm Mass. Proceeds from this event, along with the proceeds from Darragh’s climb, will be donated to Galway Hospice.

Thanks to Darragh for taking on this great challenge to benefit the patients and families being cared-for by Galway Hospice.  Darragh would appreciate any support – big or small – that can be given towards this event.   For more information on this event, or to make a donation towards Darragh’s fundraising, please contact Galway Hospice on 091 770868.
