Galway Hospice provides specialist palliative care services to adults and children with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses throughout Galway city and county, and on the adjoining islands, as well as providing support to patients’ families and carers. These services include Inpatient Care, Home Care, as well as Day Care and Bereavement Support. While the running cost of the Hospice Inpatient Unit is almost entirely State-funded, Home Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services depend hugely on community fundraising events like this one, costing €1.8 million per annum to provide. Thank you for your continued support.
