Ballygar Truckin’ this weekend in aid of Galway Hospice and 3 other Charities

Ballygar Truckin' 001 (Copy)Ballygar Truckin’ will this year take place on Saturday, 2nd August at 4 pm, with proceeds raised going to benefit Galway Hospice, Console, Western Alzheimers and ISIDA (Irish Sudden Infant Death Association).

On the day, 34 trucks will drive as a convoy in reverse!  There will be lots of fun to be had, including a barbeque, music, and face painting for the children.  All are welcome to come along to enjoy a great family day out, while simultaneously supporting four very necessary voluntary services.

The bucket collection will also take place on the4 streets of Ballygar on the following day, Sunday 3rd August, so as to maximise the benefit for the four selected charities!

Should you have any queries in realtion to this fundraising event, please contact Jane on 087 2398609.  Your support for this event would be much appreciated.

Every year, Galway Hospice must raise €1.6 million to ensure the provision of essential Home Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services throughout Galway city and county, as well as to those residing on the adjoining islands. Voluntary contributions and fundraising events like Ballygar Truckin’ are therefore extremely important to Galway Hospice. Thank you to all involved in organising and taking part in this event.
