For Martin Treacy from Abbeyknockmoy, 2021 got off to a great start when he won first prize in the Galway Hospice Weekly Draw in the first week of the year!
Martin’s father, Mattie, was cared for by Galway Hospice and the family have supported the hospice since. When a letter arrived to his house detailing the various ways to support Galway Hospice at Christmas, Martin decided to join the Weekly Draw.
Martin purchased a Weekly Draw Gift Voucher in support of Galway Hospice. For €66.04 he was entered into the Weekly Draw for a full year from January 2021. So you can only imagine his surprise and delight when he won first prize of €1,000 in the first draw of the year!
“I wasn’t expecting to get anything back but I’m delighted to help out such a great cause as the Galway Hospice,” said Martin on joining the Weekly Draw.
