Duggan Family raise €267.08 for Galway Hospice ‘Hunting the Wren’

Cheque Presentation [640x480]Many thanks to the young Duggan family from Claregalway who raised €267.08 for Galway Hospice by taking part in the ‘Hunting the Wren’ tradition on St Stephen’s Day 2013.

Mary, Sean, Ronan and Sinead sang, performed and told stories to friends and neighbours as part of the “wren day” tradition.  They then donated the money they raised to Galway Hospice!

Pictured are (l-r): Mary, Sean, Ronan and Sinead presenting Michael Craig of Galway Hospice (centre) with the proceeds they raised.

This is the second year running that the Duggan family have taken part in the wren tradition for Galway Hospice.

Many thanks to these fantastic young people who went out, despite the cold weather, to raise funds for Galway Hospice.  And thanks to everyone who supported them.
