5k Kilrickle Walk in aid of Galway Hospice

There will be a 5k walk in aid of Galway Hospice on Sunday 1st May 2011 (May Day) in Kilrickle.  Anyone interested in taking part is invited to meet in Kilrickle village at 1pm on the day, where the walk will begin. For more information on this event, contact 087-6724168.

Events like this take place across the county all year long.  They are usually organised by people who have had direct experience of Galway Hospice services and wish to “give something back”.  Regretfully, Galway Hospice has to rely totally on public funding for its Home Care and Day Care services.   We are very grateful to the countless people who, week in – week out, organise events like this, in support of Galway Hospice.  Some day, someone you know may need our services.  Others need us today.  Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us keep these services available for those who need them.
